Esthetic Challenges

Many patients who have had teeth extracted or pulled back in their face (extraction/retraction orthodontic treatment) notice unfavorable changes in their faces which they attribute to the treatment.  Esthetic Challenges of E.R.R.S.™ include such changes as a flattening of the cheeks, caving in and/or thinning of the lips, lines around the mouth, a narrower smile, teeth that are tipped back, teeth that are not prominent, an apparently protruding nose, and lengthening of the face.
